Lila Mae Salazar, age 94, of Corinth, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Lake Worth, Texas. Lila was born in Bowie, Texas on May 25, 1931, to Robert and Lillian (Parham) Fidler. She grew up in the Perrin and Mineral Wells area. While married to Adam Salazar, they made their home in Dallas, Texas and were entrepreneurs in the business of transporting, marketing and sales of fresh fruits at the Dallas Farmers Market. Lila later moved to Corinth, Texas where she resided for the last 36 years. While in Corinth, she worked in retail sales for many years. Her determination and independence allowed her to remain in her own home until August 2025.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillian Fidler, her husband Adam Salazar, her twin sister Illa Fae Driggers and two brothers, Robert (Bobby) Fidler and Claud Fidler. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A short Celebration of Life service honoring Lila will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Perrin, Texas.
