Lili Nettles Obituary
Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Lili Boyd Nettles, 81, of Gilbert, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA with Bro. T.J. Boyd and Bro. Leland Boyd officiating. Interment will be held in the Nettles Cemetery in Wilkinson County, MS under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
Mrs. Nettles was born on April 23, 1943, in Natchez, MS and passed away on March 29, 2025. She loved gardening and sewing. Mrs. Nettles is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Percy Wayne Nettles; and brothers, Shelby Chandler Boyd and Benjamin Edwin Boyd.
Survivors include her children, Charlotte Kelly and husband, Buddy, Clay Nettles, and Nancy Moroni and husband, John “Bird”; grandchildren, Amanda Middleton and husband, Daniel, Blake Kelly, Montana Adkinson and husband, Daniel, Luke Moroni and wife, Samantha, and Chad Nettles; great grandchildren, Isabella, Bonnie Renee, Keithen, Hailey, Kaleb, River, and Alyda Jo; brothers, Earcel Milton Boyd Jr. “Sunny”, Leland Sydney Boyd and wife, Judy, and Thomas Jefferson Boyd and wife, Sandra; sister-in-law, Sandra Nettles and special niece, Janis Wisner, who both helped take care of her; along with numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Charlie Boy Roberts.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday.
