Liliana Magier

Talented oil painter, beloved mother and grandmother Liliana Magier (nee Pietrucci), 95, of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, peacefully passed away on November 5, 2021. She is predeceased by her husband, Nathan Magier, in 2002. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Marie Magier-Pettoni and her husband Bob. Beloved grandmother to Danielle Pettoni. Liliana was born in Asmara, Eritrea, Africa, where she met and married Nathan. They later moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada and then to Orange, NJ, before settling in Lake Hiawatha, NJ, for over 50 years. She achieved her Bachelor Degree in Arts while studying in Spezia, Italy, which sparked her talent and passion for oil painting. Liliana designed embroidery for Barbazon and then later worked for Tiffanys. She was an avid reader of classic literature, and enjoyed preparing traditional holiday meals and spending lots of quality time with her family. Visiting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 9th from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service. Interment to follow at Geenwood Cemetery, Booton.
