Lillian M. Brosnan, a loving mother and grandmother, left this world on August 21, 2025, at the age of 88, in Port Richey, Florida. Born on July 1, 1937, in Manhattan, New York, Lillian's life was filled with joy, laughter, and an unwavering love for her family.

Lillian's career as a stock clerk at K-Mart was a testament to her dedication and hardworking spirit. Beyond her professional life, she found immense pleasure in her hobbies, often dominating card games with her friends and family, affectionately earning the title of the "Queen of Cards." Her passion extended to bingo games and even a stint in a bowling league, where her competitive nature shone brightly.

Music was another great love of Lillian’s; she had a profound appreciation for the melodies of John Denver and Kenny Rogers, often filling her home with their heartfelt tunes. These songs seem to carry memories of warmth and love, moments shared with family that will live on in their hearts.

Lillian was especially proud of her role within her community as an ecclesial woman at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, where she devoted time and energy to serve and uplift those around her. Her kindness and compassionate spirit deeply touched many lives.

Lillian leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by her family which includes her daughter, Margaret Palmateer; and son-in-law, Robert Palmateer of Port Richey, Florida; her son, Kevin Brosnan; and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Brosnan of New York; her daughter-in-law, Dana Brosnan of New York; and her sister, Dorothy Litowitz of Virginia. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Stephanie Dearstyne, Tyler Carter, Colleen Palmateer, Corey Palmateer, Sean Brosnan, Lily Kate Brosnan, and a great-grandchild on the way, bringing her immense excitement and joy before her passing.

Lillian is reunited with her loved ones who preceded her, including her husband, Donald J. Brosnan Sr., whose love she cherished deeply, and her parents, Edward Bulloss and Lillian Grimm Bulloss. She is also remembered with fondness by her sons, Richard Brosnan and Donny Brosnan; her brother, Edward Bulloss; and her sister, Patricia Stavrakoglou, who have all passed before her.

As the family reflects on her life, they are comforted by the timeless bond she shared with Donald, knowing that together they are forever. Lillian's legacy will live on in the memories she created and the love she instilled in those fortunate enough to know her. Her gentle spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love will be profoundly missed, but her impact will resonate for generations to come.

A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 5340 High St, New Port Richey, FL 34652, on Friday September 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM.

A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM at Meadowlawn Cemetery, 4244 Madison St, New Port Richey, FL 34652, where Lillian will be laid to rest with her late husband Donald.
