Lillian A. (Dash) Burns of Brighton, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 25th at the age of 83.
Lillian's surviving family is deeply saddened by her passing; She was the beloved wife of Edward Burns. Devoted mother of Deborah McCusker and her partner Chris Daly of Brighton, Denise Rigg and her husband Wayne of Lowell, Susan Nassif and her partner Raul of Brighton, David Burns of Worcester. Loving grandmother of Edward, Deana, AJ, Khalil, Lily, Melissa, Michael and the late Pierre and Nicholas. Great grandmother of Bentley, Antonio and Ariana. Sister of Archie, Jane, Robert, Beverly, George, Jimmy, Merriman, Richard, and Mary. Mother-in-law of the late Amine Nassif. Daughter of the late Allan and Geraldine (Clapper) Dash.
Lillian was known for her infectious laughter, her love of cooking, and her unwavering support for her family. She loved tending to her flowers in the summertime, going on walks, reading all different types of books, and during the holidays cooking immense meals for her loved ones. Lillian will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visiting Hours in the Lehman Reen McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (nr Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Saturday January 4th from 11:30am-1:30pm. Followed by Funeral Service at 1:30pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment at the Gardens Cemetery West Roxbury.
