Lillian Carson was born to the union of Cary and Mary Moore on August, 2, 1945 in Osceola, Arkansas where she was the 4th born of 5 wonderful children with James Moore being the 5th born child who preceded her in death. Eldest brother John Moore also preceded her in death. To this union was born her 2 eldest sisters Velma Gaddy and Annie Moore who she leaves to cherish her memory.
Lillian was a beautiful spirit with a feisty attitude that loved to party but would not allow anyone to overpower her. She married twice and was preceded in death by her last husband Casina Carson. She was and will always be loved. During her 80 wonderful years of life she gave birth to 7 magnificent children Kawanis Moore (Krista), Keith Fortner (Ingrid), Kimberly Fortner, Keisha Fortner, Keenan Fortner, Kalonda Chatman, Kawanda Fortner and were born 22 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and many cousins who she leaves to cherish her memories.
Lillian lived a vibrant life with parties in the projects with mom, dad, both sisters and brothers and these times were unforgettable. She raised her kids alone in the house but fathers were there to support her. Ms. independent is what her name was because she made it happen, meals after school, bathing and always a clean house.
Lillian fought a good fight until her health changed for the worse leading to God's call to her next assignment where he called her home on November 12, 2025. He came to take unto himself an angel leaving behind many memories never to be forgotten by those who love her.
A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. POEM (In our hearts) From your children
We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday, and days before that, too
We think of you in silence, we often speak your name
Now all we have are memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake, with which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping: we have you in our heart.
POEM (by Keith)
I carry your heart with me, (I carry it in my heart) I am never without it
Anywhere I go, My dear MOTHER
And whatever is done by only me is your doing my darling MOTHER
I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet mother). I want no world, for beautiful you are my world, my only world, my true world, and you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you.
Here is the DEEPEST SECRET NOBODY KNOWS
Here is the root, the bud and the sky of a tree called life, which grows higher than a soul can hope or mind can hide.
And this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart.
I carry your heart in my heart, MY MOTHER
POEM (By Tiny)
I've lost a decade of never loving you kissing and hugging you.The lion roared in you and you've fought a good fight and stayed to give me your last moments in this lifetime. I carry my love for you each day our father God will allow me to praise the wonderful mother you've always been to your children, Love you to the moon and back my dearest loving mother.
