Lillian Lira Obituary

Born on September 6, 2012, in Weslaco, Texas, to Camilo and Sara Lira, Lillian was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. A student at Vela Middle School, Lillian was a talented and devoted member of the school orchestra. Her passion for music, combined with her kind and joyful spirit, made her a beloved friend and classmate.
Her smile lit up every room, and her love for her family and friends was evident in everything she did. She was a cherished daughter, a devoted sister, and a treasured granddaughter.
She leaves behind a family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts: her parents, Camilo and Sara Lira; her sisters, Elizabeth and Penelope Lira; her grandparents, Jesus Martinez, Emilia Liceaga, and Sotero Lira and numerous other family members.
Lillian is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Garza.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Rudy Garza Funeral Home, with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025, departing the funeral home at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM service at St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Services will conclude at the church.
Lillian's presence was a gift, her memory a treasure. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May she rest in the peace and love of our Savior.

Dear family of one of the most awesome person that God gave me the privilege to serve as a substitute at Lamar. My deepest condolences to all. I was heartbroken when I found out just yesterday for you all. She was such a unique person. So kind and caring for others. I will miss her tremendously.
