Lillian Jones McFall, age 91, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Friday evening, July 4, 2025, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on July 19th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 13, 1933, in Maury County, Tennessee, Lillian was the daughter of the late McKinley Francis Jones and the late Lillian Davis Jones. She attended Clark Training School in Mt. Pleasant and was a graduate of Carver Smith High School. She went on to earn her associate’s degree from Tennessee State University and also obtained her cosmetology license. Lillian worked for many years at General Electric before retiring.
She was a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and found great joy in cooking and entertaining. Her greatest devotion was to her husband and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon McFall of Columbia, son, Ronald (Ruth) McFall of Columbia, eighteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry McFall, children, Reginald McFall, Terrance McFall, Shannon McFall, grandson, Adam David McFall, brother, McKinley Francis Jones, and sisters, Clara Lee Davis and Elizabeth Mary Davis.
