Lillian A. Murphy, of Woburn, formerly of Cambridge passed away peacefully at the age of 81, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, following a lengthy illness. Born in Placentia, Newfoundland, Canada, she was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes (Quilty) Murphy.

Lillian was raised and educated in Newfoundland where she graduated high school and went on to complete her cosmetology studies. She worked for over twenty years as a talented and trusted hairdresser and make-up artist. Throughout the years Lillian enjoyed quilting and sewing, creating beautiful pieces for family and pieces to sell. She loved spending time at the beach taking in the sunshine and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and being with her adored grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by those she loved and all who knew her.

Lillian is survived by her children, Christopher Gaudet and his wife Luisa, Shauna Rauseo, Mark Gaudet, Brian Gaudet and his wife Lisa. She is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and 2 loving great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Patrick Murphy, Jenny Knowles, Brian Murphy, Annemarie Powell, Peter Murphy and the late Thomas Murphy. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday, October 10th, from 4 to 6 p.m. concluding with a prayer service beginning at 6 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Lillian's memory to the Alzheimerâ??s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452. Arrangements by the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Service of Woburn.
