She is survived by her daughters Paula J. (Bailey) Harakal, McColl, SC and Diane E. Murphy, New Port Richey, FL/Houston, TX and son Ralph (Ralphie) J. Murphy, Jr., Mercer, PA.
Mabel is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ralph J. Murphy, Sr. Mabel and Ralph were married on September 13, 1951.
She is also preceded in death by her parents Helen and LeRoy Davis, stepfather Paul D. Gething (Grampy) and her son Thomas (Tommie) E. Murphy.
Mabel had 7 grandchildren, Melissa (Jerry), George, Tammy, Brandon, Jillian, Jordan and TJ. She also had 4 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
She shared a special bond with her granddaughter, Melissa Burger (Jerry) of Candler, NC. She loved sleepovers and teaching Melissa how to roller skate & dance. When Melissa moved to NC she looked forward to the frequent phone calls.
In Mabel's earlier days she enjoyed traveling to Texas and California to visit her daughter Diane and son Tom. She also enjoyed bowling, dancing and roller skating with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed the many flowers she grew around her house and the vegetables from her garden.
In keeping with Mabel's wishes there will be no services. Her final resting place will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, PA alongside her husband.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

so so sorry to hear of aunt mabels passing ..went an visited last september..got to spend some time with her.may the good lord give the family peace and comfort...she will be truley missed.
