Thomas Gibson, 66, of Greenville, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 4th surrounded by his loving son, Anthony.
Thomas was born on January 27th 1959 in Sharon to Aulton and Dolores (Savada) Gibson. He grew up in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School. He spent his life devoted to his family, friends, his work, and the land he loved.
A lifelong farmer, Thomas took great pride in raising his cattle and tending to his fields. Beyond farming, he was also a dedicated entrepreneur who owned and operated several successful businesses throughout his life. His strong work ethic and commitment to his community earned him the respect of all who knew him.
In all of his "free" time, Thomas could often be found at his beloved camp, where he enjoyed hunting and spending time in the outdoors. He especially treasured the time shared there with family and friends hunting, working, telling stories, and making memories that will be cherished for generations.
Thomas is survived by his children, Marissa ( Andrew) and Anthony; his three beloved grandchildren, his sisters, Judy, Diane, and Karen and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aulton and Dolores, his sister, Darlene, and his brother, James.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th at 5-7 at John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 East State Street Hermitage PA 16148. Burial will be private.
Thomas will be remembered for his hard work, his generosity to the people he loved the most, his love of the land, and his devotion to his family. His legacy lives on in the fields he worked, the family he raised, and the countless lives he touched.
