A Bardstown resident, Mrs. Lillie Mae Curtsinger, age 90 passed away, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born March 31, 1935, in Taylorsville to the late Ernest Benjamin and Anna Mae Berry Taylor. She retired from AI Homes window and storm door factory. She enjoyed making ceramics, going to yard sales, tending to her flowers. Lillie was a hard worker, always doing something. She was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Richard Curtsigner, two siblings, Martha Norean Humphrey, and Ernest Lee Taylor, two grandchildren, Scott Curtsinger, and William Lee Wade III. She is survived by two daughters; Peggy Sue (Glenn Cecil) Rose, of New Haven and Sheila Wade of Elizabethtown, two sons, David Ray (Rhonda) Curtsinger of Laconia, IN., and Eugene R. (Karen) Curtsinger of Bardstown, one sister, Teresa Skeeters of Louisville, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Curtsinger will be Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Bro. Richard Carwile officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00pm to 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am Friday until time of funeral service. The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
