A Bardstown resident, Mrs. Cecelia Marlene Humphrey Curtsinger, age 69, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2025, at Norton Women and Children's Hospital of Louisville. She was born December 15, 1955, to the late Calvin Clarence and Opal Downs Humphrey. Along with her parents, Cecelia was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Marshall, and three brothers, Doug Humphrey, E.B. Humphrey, and Leroy Humphrey.
Cecelia was a homemaker, loved her family, and had a passion for working with her flowers and landscaping. She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Curtsinger; one son, Charles B. "Ben" Stansbury of Bloomfield; four sisters, Gayle (Mike) Brady and Karen Moore, both of Bardstown, Paula (Gary) Chesser of Florida, and Doris Cecil of Loretto; and two brothers, Edgar Ray Humphrey of Cox's Creek and David (Gwen) Humphrey of Lebanon Junction.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cecelia Marlene Curtsinger will be 2:00pm, Friday, February 28, 2025, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown, Bro. Doug Simpson officiating. Interment will follow at Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00am until time of the service. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
