Lillie Slade Graham passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 96, in Rockledge, Georgia. Born on April 19, 1929, in Johnson County, GA, Lillie was the cherished daughter of Arthur and Gussie Phillips Slade. She spent her childhood surrounded by a large and loving family, a foundation that shaped her into the remarkable woman remembered by all.

Lillie's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and commitment. She was the beloved wife of the late Bennie H. Graham, with whom she shared a blissful marriage of 57 years. Together, they nurtured a family that became her pride and joy. Although preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Graham, Lillie's legacy continues through her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Anita Graham Smith and Daniel Paul Smith.

Her sister and brother-in-law, Lenore Slade Brantley and Mervin Brantley, along with many nieces and nephews, also mourn the loss of a woman whose gentle presence was a gift in their lives.

Lillie was also preceded in death by her siblings of Charlie Slade, Louis Slade, Edna Slade Lord, Alice Lamb, Eddie Slade, William Slade and Anna Slade.

Lillie's role as a homemaker was one she embraced with grace and dedication. Her home was an extension of her heart, where the aroma of her cooking welcomed family and friends, and her gentle spirit made everyone feel loved. She was a dedicated mother, not only to her own children but to all who crossed her threshold.

A woman of strong faith, Lillie was a member of Rockledge Methodist Church and held fond memories of her childhood baptism at Buckeye Christian Church. She cherished her visits to Buckeye Christian, where she felt a deep connection to her roots. Her faith was her compass, guiding her through life's joys and sorrows with unwavering hope and grace.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 3, 2025 at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Harvey Al Soles officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the funeral home.
