It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Lillie A. Marmolejo on October 26th, 2025, at her home in Waterford Wisconsin. Lillie was born in Milwaukee on May 7th, 1940 to John Henry and Lillian Tyloch. She met the love of her life Robert Marmolejo at the age of 14 and they were married in 1961 and were inseparable ever since. She always told everyone they would stay together “side by each”. Together they had five daughters Mary, Julie, Lillie, Roberta and Lola who were not only her daughters but her best friends. Lillie worked for MPS for many years and truly loved being able to teach children. Lillie will be remembered for her quick wit and for always making everyone laugh. Her passion was being with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who adored her.
Lillie is survived by her daughters Mary (Art Espinoza) Julie Marmolejo, Lillie Marmolejo, Roberta (Tom Meyer) Lola Marmolejo and many grand and great-grandchildren, further survived by extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents John Henry Tyloch and Lillian Kirtwright Tyloch and siblings Michael Tyloch, John Jr. Tyloch, Patricia Tyloch Hachbarth.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Witkowiak Funeral Home, 529 W. Historic Mitchell Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin beginning at 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM, followed by a procession to Arlington Park Cemetery.
