Lilly M. Porter, 95, Wichita, Kansas, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025.

She was born August 9, 1930 to Claude and Elfa (Holmes) Huff in Alton, Missouri. She married Thomas Austin Porter on July 28, 1950.

As a proud secretary for the Rotary in St. Joseph, Missouri, Lilly supported numerous charitable events, demonstrating a relentless commitment to her community.

The journey of Lilly's life was marked by the adventurous spirit as she and her beloved husband navigated the demands of military life, residing in various locations.

Upon retirement, Lilly chose the sunny embrace of Tampa, Florida, as her home. She channeled her nurturing energy into the Tampa Bay Presbyterian Church, where she was an active member.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas; children, Michael and Steven Porter; brothers, Gene and Raymond Huff; and sister, Claudia Combs.

Survivors include her children, Sharon Stone and Craig Porter (Sherry); grandchildren, Justin Porter, Chrystal Woodyard (Ryan), Richard Stone, Robert Stone, Christopher Stone, Kiley Schmidt (Andrew) and Kambry Milford (Jeremy); 6 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Buhman; extended family and friends.

Natural Farewell under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Tampa Bay Presbyterian Church, Tampa, Florida. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
