Linda Lorraine Alto, of Mentone, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Warsaw, Indiana at the age of 82. She was born just outside of Muncie on July 27, 1943, the daughter or Walter and Ruby Briner. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was characterized by her kindness and generosity.

Linda graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1962. She embarked on a fulfilling career, first working as a bartender at Rex's for many years before dedicating 25 years of her life as an industrial seamstress at ABC Industries in Winona Lake. Her work ethic and commitment were evident in everything she did.

Linda had a passion for cooking, well-known amongst her family as the “Best Cook Ever”, with her best recipe being biscuits and sausage gravy. She loved animals, particularly cats, and had an interest in crafts, coloring, and shopping with her family at local stores.

Family was the cornerstone of Linda’s life. She proudly raised her children, Lori Lupica and Brian Taylor, and was tremendously proud of her grandchildren, Whittney Taylor, Draven Lupica, and Brandon Taylor. Linda’s heart was especially filled with joy when it came to her great-grandchildren, Addison Chambers, Mya Chambers, Dallas Chambers, and Anthony "Tony" Lupica. She cherished the time spent with her family and looked forward to holidays where she would decorate and celebrate together with them.

Along with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she leaves behind her brother, Ronald (Becky) Briner, and her ex-husband, Jerry Taylor, whom she remained great friends with. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Linda is reunited in spirit with her parents, Walter Briner and Ruby Davidson, as well as her stepparents, George Davidson and Frances Briner; her sister, Gail Hahn; her brother-in-law, John Hahn; and her son-in-law, Franklin Sherrod.
