Linda Darlene (Collins) Barron of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on Monday, November 22, 1948 in Folsom, Oklahoma to Della Inez (Dean) and Loyd Dee Collins. She was a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, but was previously a lifelong resident of Hopewell, Oklahoma. She was of Christian faith and attended church at Midway Family Worship Center. She married Rex Barron on April, 12, 1968 in Hopewell, Oklahoma. Linda was known to be a beautiful quilter and operated her own quilting business. She had a love and talent for cooking and was an avid reader. She was a dedicated woman and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Della Inez (Dean) and Loyd Dee Collins; and sister Carol Martha Collins. Survivors include her loving husband Rex Barron of Durant, Oklahoma; sons David Barron of Durant, Oklahoma, Tim Barron and wife Carrie Barron of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren Blake Barron, Brooklyn Barron, Haley Barron all of Durant, Oklahoma; brothers Jim Collins, Mike Collins and wife Rena, Doug Collins and wife Sheila; numerous nieces, nephews as well as other extended family and friends. A family visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Gordon Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Midway Family Worship Center, 1198 W Voca Rd. Coleman, Oklahoma with Pastor Sammy Vaughn officiating. Kiernan Collins, Joey Collins, Jason Stofel, Mick Morgan, Nick Mason, Jeff Lackey will serve as pallbearers. A graveside service will follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Kenefic, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gordon Funeral Home, 221 N. 3rd, Durant, 580-916-9090
