In Loving Memory of Linda Bond
Linda Johnson Bond, age 81 of Tallahassee passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 27, 2025 at her residence.
Linda was born September 6, 1944 in Quincy, Florida. She was the daughter of the late James Marvin Johnson and Clara Mae Tipper.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Bond of 37 years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren,
great grandchildren and all other family and friends. She was the sweetest, most loving, most kind person you ever met and would do anything
in the world for anyone. She would always call everyone "Sugar" when she spoke to you or texted you or left a voice mail.
Linda is survived by three daughters, Lisa Beck Schram (Doug), Michelle Briggs (Don), Florence Rabon; two stepsons, Brian Bond (Rachel), Billy Bond (Wendy),
one step-daughter, Laurie Davis (Kevin); two sisters, Margie Johnson and Anna Dean as well as several nieces and nephews; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and her sweet special companion Bogie. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, 11/14/2025 at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.

i´ve only known Mrs.Linda For a short period of time. Her and I had bonded in many ways as I was careing for her mother in her final days. She was the most kind hearted woman I ever met. Always having breakfast for me when I showed up and even giving little gifts for my Small children! Definitely an unforgettable woman. I still have a salt and pepper shaker i´ve held onto in hopes we would cross paths again soon.

I have known Linda for over 60 years! My Mom always said Linda was like one of her own children. Whenever we visited Tallahassee, Linda would always come to Aunt Minnie's house to see my Mom. When my Mom was very sick, Linda would call me to check on Aunt Ellie. I´m deeply sorry to hear this news and am praying for the entire family.

Linda was one in a million. Sweet, genuine, caring and giving. As cousins we didn't speak often, but when we did it was as if we had spoken just a few days ago. Her greatest gift she leaves with everyone who knew her is how genuine she was.
