The heavens started shining brighter on December 4, 2025 when Linda Ann Christensen Prasuhn was called home to her lord and savior.
Linda was born in
Twin Falls, Idaho on March 15, 1945 to Olon and Shirley Crandall. She had a vibrant childhood growing up on the family farm in Eden, Idaho and graduated from Valley High School in 1963. Linda was a second generation 4-H member in Jerome County and in her words showed the "orneriest dairy cow in the barn". She developed a passion for horses thanks to the encouragement of her grandmother, Lola Knifong. Linda was known to be seen everywhere as a teen on her first horse, Lucky, and loved telling the story about sitting on Lucky's back for her first kiss with a boy. She loved participating in drill teams and horse shows as a teen and into her 20's.
After high school, Linda attended the University of Idaho to major in Home Economics. During her time there she met her first husband, Keith Christensen, whom she married on September 4, 1964. She didn't give up on her dream to get her college degree as a young bride and mother after giving birth to her first born, Wendy, in August 1967. She walked across the stage to receive her Bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho while being eight months pregnant with her second child, Tina, who was born in June 1969.
Linda spent the next 21 years in Glenns Ferry where her and Keith raised their two daughters and welcomed their third child, Kevin, in July 1978. Linda spent several summers teaching Home Economics to migrant teens at the school and was well known as the city librarian where she shared her avid love of reading with everyone who walked through the door.
A few years after Keith passed away in 1988, Linda moved to Boise and in her time there she met her second husband, Ron Prasuhn over the internet at a time when meeting that way wasn't really a thing. They were married on November 29, 1997 and just celebrated 28 years together a few days prior to her passing. They bought a cute house in Nampa where she last called home.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Olon and Shirley Crandall, and her first husband, Keith Christensen. She is survived by her 2nd husband (Ron Prasuhn), her brother (Carlos Crandall), daughter (Wendy Burrows-Severy), daughter (Tina Holmquist and husband Leonard), her son (Kevin Christensen and wife Krysten), grandkids (Chase Burrows and wife Sierra, Charisma Burrows, Alexa Holmquist, Keiko Christensen, Kassie Christensen, and Karter Christensen, Andrea West and husband Brendon), and great-grandchildren (Amelia, Hazel, Ava, Aubrey). She is also survived by David Cotton, whom she helped raise like a son while his parents were away long-haul truck driving.
Linda was a vibrant, active person who loved the outdoors, flowers, Christmas lights, and camping. Her favorite pastime was reading and if there wasn't a book in her hand you could find one or more very close by at any given time. She will be greatly missed by all that were blessed to know her.
