Linda Sue "Susie" Clanton, 66, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
Susie was born on September 17, 1957 in Molena, GA. She loved to cook and feed her family and friends and also worked as a head chef, running a kitchen.
Susie is preceded in death by her parents, Dillard A. and Linda Carol (Antley) Ard; grandparents, Thomas B. and Mary Savage Antley; and sister, Betty Ann Hammock.
Left to treasure her memory is her husband, David Lee Clanton, Sr.; daughters, Lisa Lynn Almond (Jeffery), Senika Nicole Smiley (Wesley), and Paige Amber Clanton; sons, David Lee Clanton, Jr. and Brandon Lee Clanton (Tiffany); grandchildren, Morgan, Jonathan, Torrey, Izabella, Jacobi, Jessica, Sheldon, Raeanna, Bella, Layla, Alivia, Austin, Kaitlyn, JD, Nevaeh and Brooklyn; grandson, Easton Lee; brothers, Dillard Alan Ard, Donald Lee Ard, Sr., Thomas Ard, and William Joseph Ard.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Clanton Family Cemetery off Steelfield Rd in Walton County, with Bro. Rossi officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Jeffrey Almond, Henry Clanton, Bro. Reeves, Wesley Smiley, Thomas Clanton, and Sheldon Clanton.
