Linda Potts Collier, 73, resident of Columbia, died Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Andy Pogue officiating. Burial will follow at Williamsport Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 12:00 PM till 1:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Born April 20, 1951 in Columbia, TN, she was the daughter of the late James R. Potts and the late Ruby Malugin Potts. On January 2, 1976 she married Charles E. Collier, who preceded her in death on February 1, 2014. Mrs. Collier enjoyed reading, gardening, and growing flowers. She had a loving and gentile nature and was an animal lover, especially her cats. She loved going fishing everyday with her husband till his passing, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Nicole (Kevin) Thomason of Columbia; grandson, Jacob Cole Thomason; granddaughter, Lily Thomason; brothers, Marvin Potts, Kenneth (April) Potts, Jerrell Potts (Penny Filson); and sister, Janice Roberts.
Active pallbearers will be James Potts, Will Mabry, Briar Mabry, Jonathan Potts, Dean Adkisson and Brian Adkisson.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the 6Th floor at Maury Regional Medical Center and Compassus Hospice.
