Linda Ann Cork, 63, of LaGrange, died Sunday, January 12, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on November 15, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, to Joseph J. and Eleanor J. (Welker) Burzynski.
Linda worked as a bookkeeper for Kelly Services in Troy, Michigan for 10 years. When she moved to LaGrange County, she worked for the LaGrange BMV, LaGrange County Zoning Administration and the Auditors Office. Linda also worked for Alternative Lifestyles, Inc.
In her free time, she enjoyed arts, crafts, and hand painting on egg shells. She was a nature lover who enjoyed hunting for Petosky stones in Michigan with her husband, Jami, and canoe trips down the Pigeon River.
She married, Jami Cork, in LaGrange, Indiana, on June 20, 1996. Jami preceded her in death on August 8, 2021.
Surviving Linda is her brother, Bill Burnyski of LaGrange, IN; sisters-in-law, Deborah Cork of Orland, IN, Audrey Burzynski of Charlotte, NC, Michelle Cork (Jill Samples) of Clinton Township, MI; brothers-in-law, Stephen Landrum of Warren, MI, Rory Cork of Davison, MI, and Barry (Brenda) Cork of Orland, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Linda in death are her parents; a sister, Maureen Landrum; and a brother, Tom Burzynski.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 West Michigan St., LaGrange, IN 46761.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be contributed to the ARK Animal Rescue & Adoption, P.O. Box 95, Howe, IN 46746.
