Our hearts are heavy from grief yet overflowing with cherished memories as we bid goodbye to a radiant soul - Linda Craven, born Linda Lee Walter on 1 April 1956 in Davenport, IA. Her life's journey, filled with love, compassion and unwavering dedication, came to a peaceful close on 24 October 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of joy, resilience and inspiration that will forever echo in the lives she touched.
Born to Barbara and the late Gene Walter, Linda was a beacon of light for those around her. She was a dedicated companion to her husband Michael, with whom she shared an adventurous spirit and love of traveling and camping. As the office manager at Craven Chiropractic Clinic in Land O' Lakes, FL, she was a nurturing presence, always welcoming with a beautiful smile and radiating warmth. Her compassion extended beyond her professional life as she immersed herself in her Christian faith, teaching Sunday School and participating in the church choir.
Linda's love for her family was immeasurable. Her roles as a mother and grandmother were her most cherished, providing wise counsel and unwavering support to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Michael; children Kristin (Steve) Melanson Boyce, Michael (Jakki) Craven II and Lacey White; grandchildren Vance, Mason and Gannon Melanson (father Brett), Payton, Bryce and Brielle White (father Jonathan); mother Barbara Walter; and siblings Bruce, April, David and Ed Walter. It wasn't just her family who were recipients of Linda's love and kindness; she touched the lives of countless others through her actions and her faith. As stated in 1 Peter 4:8: "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins." Linda embodied this verse, her love and compassion reaching far and wide.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Saturday, 4 November 2023, at Dahlonega Funeral Home, 20 Gibson Road, Dahlonega, Georgia, 30533, starting at 10:00 am EDT, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am EDT. The interment of the urn will be at Dahlonega Memorial Park, 228 Turner Road, Dahlonega, Georgia, 30533, at 12:00 pm EDT. As we say our final goodbyes to Linda, we invite you to celebrate her life by sharing your memories and uploading photos to the memorial page. May her unwavering spirit continue to inspire us all.

Linda truly had such a radiant countenance with that always present beautiful smile that welcomed and put everyone at ease. Now, that countenance has been enriched beyond our earthly comprehension as she beholds her Savior and King, Jesus. I cannot imagine the sheer delight she is experiencing right now. She and doc Craven were such great partners in loving and welcoming our kids into their life and adventures and many other´s as well. They truly understood that the gospel comes in the form of love, hospitality and acceptance. I know her lack of physical presence will leave a huge hole in the heart´s of Michael, Kristin, Michael Jr, Jakki, Lacey, Barbara and her siblings in deep sorrowful ways. I pray that the God Linda trusted will be comfort, peace and hope for you all. And you will let that loss drive you to live in ways that would honor Linda´s memory, please her Lord Jesus Christ and make her smile. Hebrews 12:1

Loved her sense of humor! There has not been an April Fools day that I haven't thought of her, always with a smile. Linda was an angel with an onery streak! She was the wife and mother we should use as a model. Linda is happy, we are sad, so sad! She left many wonderful memories for us to hang on too! She will be missed forever!!
