Linda Crawford Obituary
Linda was born in Jefferson County, Alabama. She spent most of her life helping others by working at the Cedar Lake Bible Conference and St. Anthony's Hospital. Her passions were cooking, gardening and birdwatching. Most of all her passion was spending time with her 15 grandkids and 8 great-grandchildren. Grandma Red never met a stranger.
Linda married her love of her life, Ronald Crawford, in 1964. She is survived by her husband of 61 years; three sisters, and two brothers; her children, Cathy (Jack) Dean, Caroline (Allan) Wise, Mary (Bruce) Bonesteel, Ron (Lynn) Crawford, James (Tiffany) Crawford; grandchildren, Brian, Samantha, Eddie, Travis, Tanya, Tyler, Jeffery, Gabrielle, Ronnie, Jacob, Nicholas, Tate, Tyler, Hunter, and Lexi; great-grandchildren, Eva, Atom, Xander, Little Eddie, Teddi, Lilli, Ryker, and Remi. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and her loving grandson, Jacob Crawford.
Friends may greet the family on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 6:30 pm at BURDAN FUNERAL HOME, 12901 Wicker Ave., Cedar Lake, IN 46303. A funeral service will take place Thursday at 6:30 pm.
