Larry Earl Crawford

Larry Earl Crawford, born on April 10, 1952, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in his hometown on March 22, 2026, at the age of 73.

Larry was a dedicated social worker in the health care field, where he devoted many years of his life to helping others. His compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to those in need left a lasting impact on countless individuals and families.

A proud alumnus of West Henderson High School, Larry graduated with the class of 1970, after high school Larry attended Western Carolina University. He carried the values and friendships formed during those years throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Walter E. and Mary Pittilo Crawford, and his dear aunt, Joyce Pittilo. Larry is survived by many friends who will miss him dearly and cherish the memories they shared.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Larry's honor may be made to The Friends of the Library of Hendersonville, reflecting his love for knowledge and community.

Larry's kindness, dedication, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
