Linda J Deane, 64, of Palm Coast, FL entered Heaven's gates on the afternoon of July 4, 2023.
She was born in Stafford, CT on August 24, 1958 to the late Robert Racicot and Jane Works (Safranak). She spent her childhood and started her family on Fisher Hill Rd. in Willington, CT. She worked for The State of Connecticut for over 20 years before retiring and relocating to Palm Coast, FL in 2000 where she lived for the past 23 years.
A loving mother, nana & homemaker, Linda was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals and entertaining her family & friends. Especially over the holidays! She always prepared a feast, ready to serve 100 even if 10 showed up. Linda loved to travel; from exploring the mountains in North Carolina to cruising the sea with her family. She loved her family, her grandkids, her pets and making her home a haven for all who entered. She loved serving her Church, she loved Jesus and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her four children Jason Waite of Lebanon, TN; Jeremy Waite and his wife Vanessa of Willington, CT; Corissa Salgado (Deane) and her husband Leo of Palm Coast, FL and Evan Deane of Palm Coast, FL; Seven Grandchildren Gabriella Salgado, Noah Salgado, Mikayla Salgado, Jeremiah Salgado, Orion Waite, Claire Waite and Samantha Waite; a sister Elizabeth Schimmelpfennig of Pomfret, CT, two brothers Doug Racicot of Pomfret, CT and Robert Racicot of AZ, her partner of 14 years Jimmy Randall and his daughter Bethany Smith, along with a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
A remembrance for Linda will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Introvigne Funeral Home located at 51 East Main St., Stafford Spring, CT from 10:00am to 12:00pm followed by a procession to Willington Hill Cemetery for a graveside service and burial at 12:30 pm.
