Linda Dorn Obituary
Stevens Point - Linda Jean Dorn, age 73, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021. Linda was born on October 31, 1947 to John and Evelyn Schindler. She married Terry Gulan in 1970 and had one son, Scott. Linda married Jim Dorn in 2001 and he preceded her in death 2005.
Linda loved golfing, spending time on the Wisconsin River and at the family cottage on Pine Lake. She had a lifelong career with Sentry Insurance. In retirement, Linda was an excellent caregiver, helping her mother and friends as well as her ex-husband and companion, Terry. She will be missed greatly, especially by him.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother James. She is survived by her son Scott, grandsons Sam and Max, her companion Terry Gulan, her brother John (Sandi) Schindler and their family as well as Greg, Jeff and the Dorn family. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Portage County Healthcare Center as well as Linda's great friend, Nora, who provided care for her in her time of need.

I am sorry to hear of Linda's death. I lived across the street from Linda while we were in grade school. We were good friends and each year when school started we would order matching dresses from the catalog. We had so much fun, but one of our favorite things was making date bars out of a box mix. (The company no longer makes them. Lol.) We lost contact with each other, but we would run into each other and remember the good old days.
