Linda Eileen Dunphy, 84, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025 after a long and happy life. Linda was born in the Bronx, NY in 1941 and moved to Long Island in 1977 where she spent the rest of her days. Linda’s greatest joy in life came from spending time with her husband of 63 years, Thomas. She adored being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother and took great pride in each and every one of them. She was a warm and compassionate person with a straightforward attitude and a warm and forgiving heart. She made a beautiful home for her family where she created many happy memories throughout their lives. She is survived by Thomas and their four children,

Michael (spouse Mary) Janette (spouse Anthony) Richard (spouse Gina) and Susan (spouse William) ten grandchildren, Kaitlin, Lauren, Michael, Kyle, Christopher, Ryan, Sean, Kevin, Liam, and Kaely, two great grandchildren Trey and Claire with number three on the way.

Linda is reunited in heaven with all of her siblings, Carol, Patsy, Gina, Jackie, Skip, and Teresa.

A service will be held on October 5, 2025 at Moloney’s Lake Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Avenue,  

Lake Ronkonkoma, New York from 2-6pm.
