Linda Armine Jones was born April 22, 1962, in San Jose, California, to Richard and Elizabeth Jones. In 1968, her family was transferred to Wilmington, North Carolina, where she was raised and attended school. She graduated from E.A. Laney High School in Wilmington, NC, and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

In 1996, Linda relocated to the Kansas City area to be near her sister, Donna Furman. She worked for the last 29 years as an analyst with UMB Bank. Linda married David L. Eber on November 26, 2001. They were never blessed with children, but they cherished their four-legged fur babies.

Linda departed this life peacefully on December 25, 2025, at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Jones; her father, Richard Jones; her brother, Phil Jones; and her father-in-law, Donald L. Eber.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, David, of Independence; her sister, Donna Furman, of Independence; brothers, Ronald Jones (Kathy) of Rocky Point, NC, and Casey Jones (Barbara) of Winnabow, NC; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Per Linda’s request, there will be no services or celebration of life. The family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Linda’s memory.
