Linda Eberhardt Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brater-Winter Funeral Home (Sayler Park) on Nov. 5, 2025.
Lovingly composed by daughter, Amy
Born January 24th, 1948 in Cincinnati, to Marcella Hoffman and some man named Bob. Linda worked most of her career as a secretary in various companies, but is believed to have ran an underground illegal business that caused her to move 20+ times around the tri-state area.
She had an unparalleled sense of humor and a sharp wit to match. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats. Her hobbies included spending time with family and friends, going to Hollywood casino, buying scratch off lottery tickets, card games, bowling and moving. So much moving.
The light of her life was her grandson Trey. She absolutely adored him and attended every sporting event of his that she physically could. She managed to set an unrealistic expectation for him, that he should get paid for everything little thing he does in life. Thanks mom. (Go fund me info to follow).
The people she leaves behind will miss her immensely, but we know she is finally able to rest and is at peace. She fought hard for the last 9 years. Between cancer, COPD, CHF and a leg amputation, her determination never wavered. Her strength and grit were something to be admired.
Her battle ended July 27th, 2025 at Hospice of Blue Ash. The people there took amazing care of her and all of us, for her last few days. She was able to see the majority of her VIP list, and was surrounded by love, laughter and memories.
The people she leaves behind have endless funny stories and memories to share and for that we are eternally grateful.
The VIP list: my dad Tom, me-her daughter Amy (Christian), her grandson Trey, her daughter Lisa (Tony) and her bonus daughter Angie (Mike). Sister-cousins Cheri (Dan) and Vickey (Mike). Best friend Renee. In-laws Bill and Lynne. Nieces Mandy, Sandra and Charlene. Other notables, Missy and Brooklyn, Darcy and Bubba, Owen (April) and JR (Kammy). Fur babies Mattie and Frankie.
The heavenly VIP list: her mom Marcy and stepfather Jack, grandparents Anna and Howard, several aunts and uncles, and a small herd of pets.
Honorable mentions: the casino valet staff, Ohio lottery commission and U-Haul.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time. Inurnment will be at her daughter's house and wherever we scatter her ashes over the next several years.
