Linda Jean McKinney Ferqueron, of Greenwood, widow of Roy O'Neal Ferqueron, went home Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Wesley Commons.
Born in McCormick, she was a daughter of the late Elmer Cowan McKinney, Sr. and Lottie Belle Scott McKinney. Linda devoted her life to her family as a homemaker, taking great joy in cooking for and spending time with her loved ones. She was a loving mother, nanny and friend to all. Linda was a devout Christian and a charter member of New Life Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Mary Prescott, Macie McKinney and Elmer "Sonny" McKinney, Jr.
Surviving are her children: Lottie Hammond (Thomas), Karen Remter (Bill), Lee Ferqueron (Lorie) and Neal Ferqueron (Jennifer); grandchildren, Tabby Hamby (Jarret), Alton Finley, Lindsay Ferqueron, Jessica Ferqueron, Lee Ferqueron, Luke Ferqueron, Jill Ferqueron, Hunter Ferqueron (Dakota), Brianna Leopard (Weslee), Makenna Ferqueron and Maeson Capps; great grandchildren, Cierra Bond, Bentley Ferqueron, Easton Ferqueron, Carson Ferqueron, Parker Ferqueron and Lainey Ferqueron; and lifelong friend, Eron May.
Services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Bates officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Luke Ferqueron, Lee Ferqueron, Hunter Ferqueron, Weslee Leopard, Alton Finley and Bill Remter.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 5-7pm.
The family is at their respective homes.
