Mrs. Linda Dianna Griffin Fisher, 77, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Brown’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro. Mrs. Fisher was born in Columbus, GA to the late Ralph Giffin and Mattlene Collins Giffin on July 24, 1947. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother as well as a dedicated member of Lower Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Statesboro. Mrs. Fisher enjoyed raising and exhibiting horses and was also a Pink Lady Volunteer at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frank W. Fisher and brother Ronald Griffin.
Survivors include her son, Kelly Fisher (Tammy) of Dadeville, Al.; brother, Lamar Griffin of Columbus, Ga; three sisters, Kathy Higdon (Frankie) of Phenix City, Al and Carlene English (John) of Mauk, Ga, Victoria Strickland (Mark); two grandchildren, Joshua Hookness (Tara), and Alexandra Comiskey (Mead) and one great grandchild, Delaney Comiskey. Also several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday May 25,2025 at 1pm at Lower Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church 201 Lee St. Statesboro, GA 30458.
Inurnment will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, Al 36856.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Lower Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
