Linda Goike

Linda Faye Goike, of Lakeland, Florida died on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 8:15 a.m. at the Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1944, in Garrett, Kentucky, to Andrew and Callie (Hale) Scott. She was married to Thomas Goike. He survives in Lakeland. Linda was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and loved watching Days of Our Lives. Most of all, Linda greatly loved her large family. Also surviving are her sons, Rick Christian and Terry Christian. Both of Romulus, Michigan; grandchildren, Tyler Christian and Trent Christian; sisters, Irene (Ben) Talaska of Beaverton, Michigan, Sallie (Darrell) Pratt of Garrett, Kentucky, Mattie (Terry) Triplett of Garrett, Kentucky; brothers, Frank (Sharon) Scott of Garrett, Kentucky, and Rodney (Alicia) Scott of Hi Hat, Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Wanda Rister, Imolene Hicks, Mary Sue Wicker, and Elizabeth Scott; and brothers, Ernest Scott, Randolph Scott, and Dan Scott. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Visitation will be from 3:00 Pm until 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 6:00 PM at Uht Funeral Home, 35400 Glenwood, Westland, MI 48186. A private burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West.
