Linda Crouch Halbrook went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Annie Penn Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Russell McKinney officiating. The burial will immediately follow the service at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home from 1-2:00PM.
Linda was born in Rockingham County on December 16, 1942, to the late Paul D. Crouch and Gracie Purdue Crouch, both of Reidsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mitchell Myrick. Linda retired from Mayberry Restaurant where she was a waitress for 18 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Larry Halbrook, who was also her caregiver. She is also survived by her daughter, Dana Huskey and grandson Taylor Huskey of Reidsville; one son, David Halbrook and wife Angela of Reidsville and granddaughters Ashley Doss and Kaitlyn Hill; in addition to five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Paul “Joe” Crouch, wife Nancy of Reidsville, and Donnie Myrick, wife Debbie of Reidsville; and sister-in-law Beverly Myrick.
Lindas husband, Larry, was a wonderful caregiver who always put Linda first. He made sure she was happy whether it was by going out to eat or taking her to hair appointments. Larry was always by her side.
Linda was a loving, sweet person who will be missed by many.
