Linda Kay Hemann, age 78, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at The Cedars of Austin. Linda was born November 11, 1946, in Austin, Minnesota to Harvey and Pauline (Halvorson) Joseph. She was a 1964 graduate from Austin High School. Linda lived most of her life in Austin and worked at the Austin Medical Center, where she began in housekeeping then worked her way up to Central Supply before retiring at 65. On February 12, 1966, she married Leslie Hemann in Austin. Linda enjoyed reading, going for walks, bowling, and camping with her husband, Les and their dog, Prinston. She also looked forward to going out for lunch with her neighborhood friends every Friday. Linda was a very loving and caring person, if anyone needed anything, she was always there to help.

Survived by her husband, Leslie Hemann; three children, Tammy Guttu (Adrian), Kimberly Hammermeister (Ray), and Gary Hemann (Christy); five grandchildren, Crystal Pacholl, Dereck Gutu, Scott Olsen, Adam Olsen, and Isaiah Hemann; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; grandparents; aunts; and uncles.

A memorial gathering for Linda will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. Private family interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements.
