Linda Carol Holloman

Linda Carol Holloman, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC. Born on December 6, 1946, in Atlanta, GA, she graced this world for 79 years.

Linda's career was marked by her dedicated service at AT&T, from which she retired after many years of commendable work. Her professional life was a testament to her diligence and commitment.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hood and Gwendolyn Manuel Hood; her husband, James Holloman; and her brother, William Hood.

Linda leaves behind cherished memories with her surviving family, including her brother Richard Hood of Lawrenceville, GA, and her extended family: Wylene Hood, Gayle Hood Holbert, Marie Hood Powell, Scott Hood, Mark Hood, David Hood, Kenneth Hood, Douglas Hood, and Susan Hood Gubeli.

Throughout her life, Linda called several places home, including her birthplace of Atlanta, GA, and Nashville, TN, before her final residence.

A service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at a later date at the First Baptist Church, with Pastor Justin Alexander officiating.

Linda will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, and her memory will remain a lasting light in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
