Linda Honea, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the age of 79. Beloved and loving wife of the late Donald “Donnie” Honea and son Stephen Honea. Sister of the late Harvey T. Burns (Shirley). She was a resident and employee of Plaquemines Parish and a devout member of First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse.
She never met a stranger and always was willing to help others. She was a devoted friend and companion. She loved watching football and will be missed by her canine companions, Maggie, Macy, and Molly.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard (corner Westwood Drive), Marrero, LA on her birthday, Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 12 noon until 1:30 PM. Prayers will follow at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse, LA.
