Linda Hoxit Obituary
Linda Ann Shuler Hoxit, 70, of Sylva, passed away Thursday February 8, 2024A native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County she was the daughter of the late James and Stella ShulerLinda loved quilting, canning and gardening but what she enjoyed most was just being around her family and spending time with them. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Arnold Hoxit, her companion Carroll Seay and her sister Frances Frizzell.
She is survived by;
Son- Michael (Arlecie) Hoxit of Sylva
Daughter- Beverly Frady (George) of Cullowhee
Grandchildren; Gabe Frady (Jasmyne), Meaghan Davis (Casey), Cole Hoxit (Amber)
Great Grandchildren; Camdyn, Carleigh and one on the way !
Sister; Waynefica Mathis
Brothers; Kenny, Don and Ron Shuler
Special Friend; Elsie Williamson
Several nieces and nephews also survive
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday February 13, 2024 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Lower Coward Cemetery, Tuckasegee
