Linda Jacob Obituary

Linda was born in Camden to the late Horace Preston and Edna (Hansen) Kenney Sr. She grew up in Barrington and graduated from Haddon Heights High School, class of 1970. She soon became a loving mom. In the early 1980s, she and her family moved to Cumberland County.
For many years she worked as a Bookkeeper for Jack Rabbit Food Stores in Bridgeton before retiring. Linda enjoyed playing bingo, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Linda will be sadly missed by her children, Linda Thomson of Vineland, Dawn Watson of Vineland, Edgar Vennell, Jr. and his wife Christina of Bridgeton, and Timothy Vennell and his wife Viviana of Millville; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Anton Jacob; and three brothers, Horace P. "Sonny" Kenney Jr., Wayne Kenney and Steven Kenney.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Fernwood Memorial Park in Bridgeton.
Memories of Linda and condolences to her family may be shared on her tribute wall.
