Linda R. Jaeger, 78, formerly of North Fond du Lac, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Linda was born July 3, 1947, in Fond du Lac, daughter of Raymond and Eva (Thorpe) Mielke. She graduated from Horace Mann High School in 1965.
On September 25, 1971, she was united in marriage with Thomas M. Jaeger. The couple celebrated over 30 years together before his passing in 2002.
For over 10 years, Linda worked in the cosmetology department at Walgreens in Fond du Lac. Later, she provided home daycare for 15 years, taking care of many children, whom she loved as her own.
She loved camping and could often be found watching old westerns. It brought her joy to remember small details about others and put a smile on their face. She will be remembered for fiercely loving and caring for her siblings, her children and her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her children, Jeff (Sherrey) Jaeger and Tracy Jaeger, all of Sheboygan; four grandchildren: Cam, Caris, Cade and Cale Jaeger; siblings: Nancy (Matt) Barnes, Mary (Jim) Schulze, Raymond Jr. (Ellen) Mielke, Barb (Keith) King and Gail (Rob) Seidl; brothers-in-law Butch (Marie) Jaeger and Steve (Joan) Jaeger; sisters-in-law Janet (Dave) Jeffers and Janet Jaeger; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas, her parents, her sisters Theresa Jo Mielke and Sandra (James) Huseman and brother-in-law Dick Jaeger.
Funeral Services celebrating Linda’s life will be held at 4:30PM on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Crossroads Community Church, 4321 County Road A in Sheboygan. Her son, Pastor Jeff Jaeger, will be officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 2:00-4:30PM. She will be laid to rest beside Thomas at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in her name and will be used to bless the sacrificial work of Pine Haven Christian Home and Sheboygan Progressive Health Services.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Pine Haven – Oostburg and Sheboygan Progressive Health Services, as well as Dr. Bora You, for their compassionate love, care and support for Linda as her health deteriorated.
