Mrs. Linda "Sue" Jones Teal, 75, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026 at her home in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 12:45 pm Wednesday prior to the service.
Sue was born December 8, 1950 in Concord. She was the daughter of the late James Milton Jones, Sr. and Eva Miller Jones. She was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School and later graduated from RCCC with an Associates Degree in Marketing. She worked in the Sheet Department of Cannon Mills where she was a supervisor and later worked as an administrator in Quality Control for Fieldcrest-Cannon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Wayne Teal.
Sue is survived by a son, Jonathan David Teal and wife Kelly of Salisbury; daughter, Lesley Issacs and husband Dwayne of Kannapolis; brother, Jimmy Jones and wife Lenora of Kannapolis; six grandchildren, Haley Kimball, K.R. Standish, Chandler Teal, Tori Duckworth, Jordan Baker and Hunter Honeycutt; six great grandchildren, Camryn Kimball, Jason Kimball, Ella Kimball, Blakelynn Teal, Wyatt Baker and Kasey Baker.
