Linda M. Kati, age 68, succumbed to the complications of colon cancer on October 28, 2025, at her home in the Zelienople Passavant Community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Kati Sr. and Fay R. Kati. Linda was a loving sister to Eugene (Margaret) Kati Jr. and Warren (Gretchen) Kati; aunt to Dawn (Michael) Pucak, Mark, Rebekah (Michael Bianca) and Nicholas (Madeline) Kati; and great-aunt to five.
Linda graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 1976 and was a resident of Zelienople for nearly her entire life. She was the family historian, using her uncanny ability to remember names and dates of significant family events. Linda made friends easily and cultivated many life-long friendships. She was a cat-lover whose favorite colors were orange and peach. Linda enjoyed reading, corresponding with her friends and going on outings with them, and being a loving and supportive daughter and aunt. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, Inc., 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063. A private memorial service for immediate family members is planned for a later date. Linda will be laid to rest at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum alongside her parents.
The family is grateful for the compassionate care that Linda received at the Zelienople Passavant Community during the last few years of her life.
