PRINCETON- Linda Darlene Lawrence, 69, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Born February 24, 1956, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Hubbard and Hazel Bailey.

Linda was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed Christian music. She was a daycare worker for more than 20 years. She loved horses and going to horse shows. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lawrence, and son, Allan Lawrence.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Michelle Akers and husband Brian, Larry Lawrence and companion Angie Lafferty, and Nicole Skeens and husband KW, all of Princeton; grandchildren, Christina Akers, Yvonne Akers, Keith Akers, Isaiah Skeens, Giovanni Skeens, Hay Hay Martin, Ashton Martin, Bella Lawrence, Journey Lawrence, Noah Lawrence, and Seth Lafferty; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Perkins of Yadkinville, NC, Connie O'Neal and husband Ray of Amigo, WV, Karen Hubbard and companion David Bolen of Crab Orchard, Teresa Smith and companion Chad Perkins of Coal City, and Jennie Reed and husband Danny of Amigo; brothers, Richard Hubbard and companion Ruth Hall of Sophia, and Lonnie Hubbard, Jr. of Amigo; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, December 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor C.T. Lilly, officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with KW Skeens, Michael Skeens, Terry "Dipper" Joy, Terry "Star" Joy, Thomas Ackelson, and Keith Akers serving as pallbearers. Scott Walker and Brian Akers will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Friends may visit on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
