Gale Lawrence Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Holloway Funeral Home - Salisbury on Jan. 6, 2026.
Gale Louise Lawrence passed away peacefully at her home in Ocean City MD on December 17, 2025. She was born in Salisbury MD on December 1, 1964.
She was preceded in death by her mother who she loved dearly, Dorothy Lee Mason and her father Donald Mason. She is survived by 2 sisters - Cindy Shockley (Lee) and Darlene Pedwell (Colin), and 2 brothers - Larry Thornes and Lee Mason. Gale loved her nieces Lindsey Massey, Erica Shockley, Kennedy Wooten and her nephews Ryan Patey, Chase Dykes, and Austin Mason.
Gale enjoyed life, loved to eat crabs, and lived an exciting life. She had a big heart and was always putting the needs of others before her own, especially for the elderly. She found more happiness in giving than receiving. While working in hospice care, she developed special bonds with her patients, touching their lives with compassion and kindness. For this, she will always be fondly remembered.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Rob Lawrence and Shannon Ponton for the kind assistance they have given to Gale over the past years.
A memorial service will be held at Holloway Funeral Home at 10am on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Visitation will be at 9am. The service will be officiated by Pastor Dean Perdue.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road.
