We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Stella Lawrence, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Stella was born on February 3, 1945, in St. Francis, Arkansas to her parents Reece and Mary Zelma Barr.
Stella passed away on November 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her children, sisters, brothers, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She married the love of her life, Wayne Cleo Lawrence, in 1961 and together they raised four children: Jimmy, Ricky, Darrell, and Laura. Stella was a devoted wife and mother, always putting her family first and creating a loving and nurturing home for her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Wayne "Ben" Cleo Lawrence, her parents; Reece and Mary Barr, 2 Brothers; Roger and Raymond Barr and 5 Sisters; Wanda Wright, Dorthy Lynch, Joyce Gorman, Faye Evans, and Ruth Carolyn Barr.
She is survived by her children: Jimmy Lawrence, Ricky Lawrence, Darrell Lawrence, and Laura Prado; 5 grandchildren: Kimberly Lawrence, Ashli Edwards, Amanda Westmorlan, Andrea Laxton, and Jamie White as well as 13 Great Grandchildren and many bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved dearly; four Sisters: Shirley Dollar, Barbara Gorman, Brenda Rogers and Mary Maggie Evan; three brothers; Monroe Barr, Daniel Barr, Jerry Barr; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Those to serve as pallbearers will be; Monroe Barr, Derek Lawrence, Brett Westmorlan, Darrell Lawrence, Jimmy Lawrence, and Cody Laxton.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Crossway Church in Kennett, Missouri with Brother Leroy Chavez officiating. The family will receive visitors at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be next to her beloved Husband, Wayne Cleo Lawrence in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
