Robert Bryson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Holloway Funeral Home - Salisbury on Jan. 6, 2026.
Robert Clark "Rob" Bryson, 76, passed away on December 21, 2025, in Salisbury, Maryland.
Born on July 25, 1949, in Washington, D.C., Rob was the son of Robert Pearne Bryson and Ida Frances Bryson. He pursued his education at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona, where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in Information Technology. His professional life was marked by a dedicated career as the IT manager at Choptank Health Systems in Denton, Maryland, where he worked until his retirement.
Rob is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Julia Recker Bryson; his daughter, Erica Annice Alessandrini; his son-in-law, John Edward Alessandrini; and his cherished granddaughters, Emily Grace Alessandini and Sara Faith Alessandrini.
Outside of work and family life, Rob found joy in music and craftsmanship. He played bass guitar in several bands over the years - a passion that brought rhythm and creativity into his life. He also loved woodworking, spending countless hours shaping wood into meaningful pieces with care and precision. Boating was another favorite pastime that allowed him to enjoy the outdoors and finds peace on the water. One of his most treasured places was Buxton, North Carolina, where he often vacationed.
Though Rob was a very private person by nature, those who came to know him well were welcomed into a world rich with quiet humor, deep thoughtfulness, and unwavering loyalty.
A private memorial service will be held in North Carolina at a later date.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who were touched by his presence.
