Marlene Bryson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by High Country Services Funeral & Cremations on Jan. 9, 2026.
In Loving Memory of Marlene Bryson Sunrise: July 5, 1938 Sunset: January 8, 2025 With hearts filled with both sorrow and hope, we celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved mother, Marlene Bryson, a woman of strength, faith, and unwavering love. Marlene was a devoted mother, a source of wisdom, and a guiding light to all who were blessed to know her. Marlene lived her life rooted in faith and compassion. She exemplified Christ-like love through her kindness, perseverance, and the sacrifices she made for her family. Her home was a place of warmth, encouragement, and prayer, where love was freely given and faith was steadfastly taught. She believed deeply in trusting God through every season and often reminded those around her that God's promises never fail. She was married to Harold Bryson (deceased), and her father and mother were Samuel and Louise King. She leaves behind her siblings, her loving children: Angela York (Johnny York), Michael Bryson (Treva Bryson), Sherry Bradford (Clyde Bradford), and Stephanie Jackson (Sylvester Jackson), grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the joy of her life and the legacy she cherished most. Marlene poured her heart into her children, instilling in them strong values, resilience, and a deep appreciation for family and faith. Though we mourn her passing, we rejoice in the assurance of God's Word. As Scripture reminds us, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8). We find comfort knowing that Marlene has completed her earthly journey and now rests peacefully in the presence of her Savior, whom she trusted wholeheartedly. Her love will continue to live on through her children, family, and all whose lives she touched. Marlene Bryson will forever be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering faith, and the love she so freely gave. Well done, good and faithful servant. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday 1:00 PM at High Country Services Dr. Johnny York will officiate. Private burial will be in the Glades Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00PM until service time Saturday.
