Henderson, NV – After a long battle with kidney disease, Linda Kay Leedom passed away May 18, 2024, in Henderson, NV at the age of 77,
at the Nathan Edelson Hospice in Las Vegas, NV.
Linda was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Marshal to father Dean Leedom and mother Arlene Leedom. She grew up in a loving family of two brothers. Linda graduated from Marshal High School in 1965. She attended Augustana College receiving a teacher's degree in 1969. Linda taught in the school district of Lake in the Hills, Illinois teaching 2nd through 5th grades and retiring in 2006. Linda retired to Las Vegas Nevada 2006, and most recently in Henderson Nevada.
Linda is survived by her brothers, John M (Jack) and Kathy Leedom of Henderson, Nevada and Greg Leedom of Anaheim, California. She is preceded in death by father Dean Leedom and mother Arlene Leedom.
Linda requested to be cremated. Her ashes will be interred in the family plot in the Marshall Cemetery.
The family would especially like to thank Karen and Bill Orstrom, for their loving care and constant, attentive support for Linda.
