Linda F. (Leahy) Leedy, 84, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025, after a short stay at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Kenneth F. Leedy to whom she was married 56 years prior to his passing on March 30, 2023.
Linda was the 2nd of 7 children of Clifford Leahy and Susan (Gass) Leahy. She is survived by sisters Kay (Leahy) Hornberger, Jane (Leahy) Sanford, Sue (Leahy) Kilmoyer and her brother Scott Leahy. She is predeceased by brothers Clifford Leahy and Michael Leahy, a Vietnam War veteran.
Linda was a 1959 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1962 graduate of the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. With a desire to care for children she began her nursing career in the Pediatric Department of the Good Samaritan Hospital where she eventually became the Head Nurse. Later, Linda worked as an office nurse for Lebanon Pediatrician Dr. Samuel A. Hartman.
After leaving active employment to raise her two sons, Gregory (Kathleen) and David (Becky), Linda remained a lifelong learner. She had several hobbies that she pursued intensely. She was a Master Gardener who seemed to be able to make any plant flower. She was a very knowledgeable doll collector with a vast personal collection. She became an amateur artist and an avid reader and watcher of educational videos on many different topics.
She enjoyed true crime novels, and we often joked that she could pull off the perfect crime and that no one would ever find the body.
Linda had a charitable side to her as well. In 1991, During Operation Desert Storm, she organized a Comic Book Drive for the troops overseas. Her home was filled with comic books. They seemed to come from everywhere and eventually they were all packaged up and turned over to the military to be distributed to the troops in the Middle East.
In 2021, she donated over 600 of her dolls to the Lebanon Toys for Tots campaign.
Her heart was always with her grandchildren, Carolyn (Leedy) Troelsch, Jacob Leedy, Claire Leedy, Elizabeth Leedy, Emma Leedy, Matthew Leedy, John Leedy and great grandchildren Charlie, Gus and Natalie. She will be greatly missed.
There will be a viewing on Thursday 10/30/2025 from 1 pm to 2 pm at Kreamer's Funeral home in Annville. A short service will take place from 2 pm to 3 pm to be followed by a burial at Grandview Memorial Park from 3pm to 4 pm.
Linda would always appreciate a donation to the Humane Society of Lebanon County at 150 N. Ramona Rd, Myerstown, PA 17067 in lieu of flowers.

I waited on Linda many times as she was buying dolls at Boscov's. I always enjoyed our chats about dolls. She was one of my favorite customers.
